Information is vitally important. We live by it. We are an information society. For the first time in our history, news isn't entertainment. It's a necessity. We need it and we need it to be of high quality, comprehensive and factually accurate. The tendency to characterize a person's beliefs, instead of focusing on their actions, is one of the true abuses of power of the media. I hope that this era of polarized junk food journalism will soon come to an end.
